Regional Director of Accounts - Southeast

Debra Edwards is the Regional Director of Accounts for the Southeast for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. She works directly with the on site team responsible for the corporate, association and incentive markets in the U.S Southeast, Spain, Mexico, South America and Africa and serves as their liaison to the many national accounts in this territory.

Experience

Debra Edwards brings more than 15 years of management experience in the hospitality and meetings and events industry to Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. After a successful music career as a lead vocalist and entertainer, Debra began her hospitality career in Atlanta following the Olympics. Her first assignment was as Senior Catering Sales Manager at The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Since that time, Debra has served as a Director of Catering and Conference Services as well as a Director of Sales for the Wyndham Corporation. Moving on to the meeting planning side of the industry, Debra became the Director of Business Development for Monumental Meetings, a major meeting planning firm in Atlanta. Debra also has national and international hotel sales experience heading up the Southeast office for Krisam Group & Global Event Partners, selling over 200 hotels and resorts throughout the world. Debra joined the team in June 2009 as part of the Regional Sales force for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.
