Emma Cortez

Conference Sales Manager

In her role as Conference Sales Manager for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, Emma is responsible for the corporate, association and incentive markets for the U.S. Southeast. She specializes in groups between 41 to 150 rooms per night.

Experience

Emma started her career as a Sales Assistant at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in February 2002 and then transferred to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas in July 2005. In June 2006, she accepted a position as Sales Coordinator at Wynn Las Vegas, was promoted to Executive Meetings Manager in October 2007 and was subsequently promoted in October 2009 to Conference Sales Manager.

Education

Emma grew up in a small town called Lahaina, on the Island of Maui, Hawaii. She attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in early childhood education.
