Evelyn Chavez-Gomez
Convention Services Manager
In her role as Convention Services Manager for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, Evelyn is responsible for managing groups primarily over 150 rooms per night.
Experience
Evelyn, who was a member of the Wynn Las Vegas pre-opening team, started in September 2004 as a representative in Human Resources. Evelyn transitioned to the role of Convention Services Coordinator when the property opened in April 2005. During her first year in Convention Services Evelyn was nominated for Star Employee of the Month. In September of 2007 she was promoted to a Conference Services Manager and a year later in 2008 she assumed the responsibility of her current position as Convention Services Manager.
Education
Evelyn graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration.
Personal
Evelyn enjoys her leisure time with her little shit-zu "Artie" and going out to dinner with friends. She also enjoys traveling and visiting her family in Mexico.
