Sherri McMahon
Convention Services Manager
In her roles as Convention Services Manager for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, Sherri is responsible for managing groups primarily over 150 rooms per night.
Experience
Sherri started her career at Wynn|Encore in December 2008 as a Convention Services Coordinator and in April 2009 she expanded her skills set by learning the sales side of the convention business as a Hotel Sales Coordinator. Over the year she balanced the sales and services aspects by assisting with new business as well as servicing specialty groups and programs. In March 2009 she was promoted to a Conference Services Manager position, and one year later developed into her current role as a Convention Services Manager. Prior to joining Wynn Las Vegas Sherri worked as the Director of Marketing & Events for a Comedy Club in Columbia, Missouri.
Education
Sherri graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with at Bachelor's Degree Degree in Strategic Communication.
Personal
Sherri's personal interests include home décor projects and remodels; watching college sports; and reading suspense novels. In addition she enjoys spending time with her mischievous Siberian Husky taking him on hikes and being pulled along on walks and runs.
