Senior Convention Services Manager
In her role as Senior Convention Services Manager for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, Martha is responsible for managing Convention groups primarily over 150 rooms per night.
Experience
Martha began her career at Wynn Las Vegas in February 2005 as a Convention Services Manager and was then promoted in January 2010 to Senior Convention Services Manager. Martha began her hospitality career as a Management Associate at the Mirage Resort and Casino where she participated in a six-month rotation program through various F&B departments. After completing the management program, she was promoted to Food & Beverage Supervisor. In 1998, Martha assisted with the opening of the Bellagio Resort and Casino as a Manager for Olives Restaurant. Prior to joining Wynn Las Vegas in February 2005, she served as a Catering Manager at Mandalay Bay.
Education
Martha graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Marketing & Management.
Personal
Martha enjoys spending time with her daughters. She also enjoys getting together with friends, trying different cuisines, and cheering on her favorite team, the New York Yankees. Martha has also been involved in numerous community organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Outreach for Children with AIDS, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
