Ed Gillis
National Sales Manager
In his role as National Sales Manager, Ed Gillis is responsible for the corporate, association and incentive markets in the Mid-Atlantic region to include Washington, DC; Virginia; West Virginia and Maryland. Ed handles groups from 10 to 900 rooms on peak.
Experience
November 2009 marked Ed's tenth year in hotel sales. Eight of these years were spent in Las Vegas working for various hotels to include Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Sahara Hotel & Casino and Grand Hyatt. For the past two years he has worked for Hyatt Hotels as a Senior Sales Manager at their flagship hotel in San Diego, CA.

Ed's professional affiliations have included the Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA), Meeting Planners International (MPI), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Education
Ed graduated from Oklahoma City University with a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
Personal
Ed enjoys being outdoors, mixed martial arts, fitness and all sports, especially baseball. He is engaged, and a Summer 2010 wedding is planned.
